..is to love and tolerate. To embrace one another in their styles, ideas, characters, stories, and creativity with open arms and tolerant feelings. As humans of course we disagree with things that we hate or do not understand. The shippers, the humanizers, the cloppers, the combat Bronies, and all the rest of them. When you take up the name "Brony", you are a part of a fandom. Just enjoying a funny show and being a casual fan. Others however take the show at heart and of course take Bronyism as a culture, a part of the heart. Sadly though, our fandom is more human than I thought.
I have been a Brony for a little less than a year now, my 1st Brony anniversary is the 20th of January this year. And although many have even had the loyalty of a 2 year fandom streak, I have sadly seen more chaos and disharmony here than I thought. As a humanizer, I am hated and back lashed a lot more than you think, with racial taunts and very stupid annoying comments bombarding me with whiny children of speakers who have nothing better to do. I am friends with a shipping artist, a couple in fact. One of my top friends is a funny guy named Yura, he is a major TwiDash fan and is a very talented artist and loves to do what he does best. However, the Brony community has far from realized exactly what it means to love and tolerate. Me, Yura, and many other artists and writers out there are constantly bashed and humiliated by the very fandom that they call "friends" to them, and some have even left the community because of this hatred.
Yura has been a super friend to me, always helping me up when I am down and he was my key inspiration to do whatever I want in the community and just turn my other cheek to those idiots who keep on isolating troopers like us who do what we do and embrace our imaginations. However, sometimes hatred can be strong, because now I have heard that he is leaving the site because deviants on this site don't know how to leave others alone. If you hate something, good just hate all you want, but don't bash the person for liking something he likes, especially when it is something not harmful like art, Art is meant to express, let them express. Shut up and go do whatever you want, just don't spread hate or all it will do is come back to you.
For any of you who have followed me even up to now, you all know that my signature is: "Spread what you love, don't bash what you hate." I live by these words, and sadly people do not only ignore this quote, but go by certain means to avoid this idea. And to that, I am going to NOT hate on the haters, but tolerate them because that is a gift I am going to embrace and am lucky to have other than them.
Love and tolerance? The fandom thought they created a pledge, when they only created a huge lie.
